According to the by-laws of the Society, any graduate of the Air Force Academy and any former cadet who was honorably discharged from the Academy after serving at least until the close of the academic half-year immediately following admission shall be eligible for Regular Membership.
Only Regular Members of the Society are eligible to vote.
A Regular Member is an eligible member who has paid dues. A few years ago, the Board decided not to collect monetary dues, nonetheless, it was determined that eligible members must give "something of value " in order to be a Regular Member. This "something of value" was determined to be a members time and interest. Therefore, in order to be a Regular Member of the Air Force Academy Society of North Carolina, an eligible member must affirmatively express their interest by indicating it to the Society.
